Work stations, computers, photo copiers, telephones & calculators are the main places where bacteria is held.  Not cleaning your work stations could cause bacteria which could lead to illness. Most viruses are caused by germs like these.

Contamination of office equipment is prevalent.



TELEPHONE BACTERIA

Wherever you are, either by using a home phone, public or business phones, germs can be picked up.

On telephones, bacteria is mostly found in the mouth piece and it is found that all these germs can be harmful to humans.

Thrush, hepatitis and colds can all be found on telephones.



KEYBOARD BACTERIA

Sanitization is crucial, taking into the consideration the amount of germs and bacteria an average work station holds. It is proved that work station are dirtier than toilets and sustains millions of bacteria that could cause sicknesses. Bacteria levels increase as more and more people eat at there work stations, often causing food spills and bread crumbs which harbours the microscopic eco systems. Bacteria thrives on workstations, like your keyboard and telephones, that why it is very important to have daily cleaning on a regular basis.


WHAT DIFFERENT TYPES OF GERMS CAN DO:

BACTERIA   -   Organisms that can live and reproduce inside or outside the body. Less than 1% of all bacteria can cause illness. This can cause pneumonia, bacterial meningitis and urinary tract infections.

VIRUSES  -    Viruses can live for a very short time outside other living cells. They can be found on surfaces like toilets, desk tops or work stations and once moved into your body, one can become very ill. Viruses are the cause of disease like colds and small pox.
